Mic-Lock does not encrypt phone calls. 

Mic-Lock works by becoming your devices' primary audio source. It blocks the microphone, transmitting the sound of silence to anyone listening in. During a phone call, the other party would not hear you.

We always need to keep in mind during phone calls that we may or are being listened in on and our conversation could be a matter of record.

Our private conversations however, must be private. Mic-Lock is designed to keep your device from becoming a listening device within your private spaces and conversations.
