Why can’t I hear who is talking to me on my phone unless I turn my speaker on?Updated 9 months ago

Single-Ended Mic-Locks prevent audio input and output. This means that during phone calls, the other party will not be able to hear you and you will not be able to hear them.

To disable your Mic-Lock without unplugging it, tap on the speakerphone icon.

After you are done with your call, to make the Mic-Lock the active audio source just re-plug Mic-Lock into your device and the security will be active again.

If you are interested in hearing the other party while still disabling your audio input for audio privacy, consider the Mic-Lock with SoundPass.
