Will Mic-Lock cut out the microphone only if used in a 2 in 1 audio jack?Updated 9 months ago

If you have a separate Mic input line, you just have to plug Mic-Lock into it, and your speaker output audio will still work.

Some desktops have this, but most devices have one TRRS combo 4-pole headphone-microphone in one to save on space.

You can also buy a third-party audio splitter which allows you to separate the audio.



  1. If I connect Mic-Lock to a device with a combined microphone and headphone port, will it only disable the mic while allowing headphone use?
